Sport is an alternative tourism segment that can be used to promote MBI Ipoh, Geopark, and Perak State both locally and internationally. Perak Tourism is targeting a total of 3.5 million domestic tourists and 35,000 international tourists to visit Perak. We believe that the International Geopark Run Series 01 would attract a significant number of visitors as a welcome event for Visit Perak Year 2024. The Geopark 5 Run is organized together with Taman Negeri Perak, MBI Ipoh, and Tourism Perak to celebrate the 5th Geopark Anniversary 2023 under MBI Ipoh and launch the International Geopark Run for Perak State.
